The Company is a large, multi-location publishing house. Pilferage of gifts sent to subscribers was rampant and could not be controlled.

Analysis
The incumbent service provider had neither a security network nor a track and trace system to provide any feedback of the shipments in transit. Given the large distribution area, it was impossible to locate the offenders and arrest the problem.

The security department was alerted in advance to forge a cautious environment and conduct random checks. Additionally, Blue Dart had suggested the use of tear-proof packages which, when torn, were rendered non-usable, so that the pilferage could be detected immediately.

The customer's pilferage problem was resolved and he currently used Blue Dart's services for all his distribution needs.
