Blue Dart to expand operations in South
Blue Dart Express, the courier and logistics company, has decided to invest $8 million on its expansion. The entire amount would be spent to acquire an aircraft and expand its network in the South. The company will open 12 offices in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala and appoint regional service participants and delivery associates.It will cover a total of 198 cities and towns in the South.
Announcing Blue Dart's expansion plans for South India,Gopa Kumar, Vice President(South) told pressperson that South was an important market for Blue Dart. The entire range of products and services would be available at all these locations. Blue Dart would be setting up its own offices in Vellore,Cuddalore, Maraimalainagar, Nellore and Sivakasi.
