Blue Dart & NIPs announce "The Best Administrative Practice of the Year" Award
|

Blue Dart and the National Institute of Professional Secretaries (NIPS) today announced the institution of the "Best Administrative Practice of the Year" award at an event organised by NIPS to celebrate Administrative Professionals' Day.
Blue Dart recognises that the secretaries of today are ideally positioned to have an insight into business by virtue of the tasks they perform. Secretaries have contributed, and are contributing innovations which bring greater efficiency to the workplace.
The award aims to recognise these contributions, and promote knowldege sharing of these best practices among members of the community.
On a quarterly basis, a winning entry will be selected based on parameters stipulated by a panel of judges. A few key parameters by which the entries would be judged include practices that can be duplicted across the community, are sustainable and ensure personal growth. The mega-prize winner for the "Best Administrative Practice of the Year" will be selected from among the four quarterly winners.
Announcing the award at the Boss-Secretary lunch, Tulsi N. Mirchandaney, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Projects, Blue Dart said, "The role of the secretary has evolved qualitatively. Best practices need to be encouraged and recognised, and shared amongst users. This will benefit the individual, organisations and the community at large".
Speaking at the event, Janet Rego, Past Chairperson, NIPS-Bangalore and co-ordinator for the event said, "We are pleased at the inititative taken by Blue Dart. The award would recognise the work of administrative professionals and also give us an opportunity to share our knowledge and experience with our peers across the country".
