Blue Dart strengthens its position in the South
|
- Bangalore expands to a new location
Kolkata, August 20, 2002
Blue Dart Express Limited, South Asia's leading express company, today
inaugurated its new Regional Headquarters in Bangalore. With the opening of
this office, Blue Dart is geared to provide better services to its customers
with greater accessibility, enhanced connectivity and a more
customer-friendly environment.
The office is located next to Bangalore airport and close to the Blue Dart
Aviation bonded warehouse, the Blue Dart Express hub and the MSIL
international cargo facility. This enables more efficient transfers of cargo
and speedier operations.
The office, spread over 10,000 sq. ft., is equipped with the latest
technology and round-the clock connectivity to the Blue Dart network. It also
has a state-of-the-art conference room to cater to the training requirements
of the employees.
Speaking on the occasion, Gopinath Menon, Senior Vice President - South,
said, "The move not only strengthens our express capabilities but lends
support to our aviation infrastructure as Blue Dart has an aircraft stationed
in Bangalore."
