DHL and Blue Dart celebrated Global Volunteer Day on September 16 and 17, 2011. More than 7600 employees across India took part in various activities including blood donations, volunteering in old age/children's/destitute homes, organizing painting competition for underprivileged children and sponsoring saplings as part of its global drive to give back to local communities and to inculcate a passion for volunteerism.
