Blue Dart makes inroads into Bhilwara

Blue Dart, a Mumbai-based express air and integrated transportation, distribution and logistics company and part of the DP DHL Group, has opened an office in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Sukhwinder Singh, regional head (North), Blue Dart Express Ltd, inaugurated the office located at 14-17 S K Plaza, B Block, Pur Road, Bhilwara.

Speaking at the launch, Singh said, "Bhilwara's large textile industry has helped it earn the sobriquet of the 'Manchester of Rajasthan'. With a large number of corporations setting up offices here, the city is also seeing an increase in inbound logistics from e-tailing. Blue Dart's presence will enhance their online shopping experience with reliable delivery of products."

The opening of the 3,000 sq.ft. centre in Bhilwara underlines the company's commitment to partner with Tier II and III cities in their growth, said the company. The cenre also has strategic importance for the company as it will be a significant hub on the 600 km Jaipur - Udaipur route. In addition to the industrial town, the centre will also service neighbouring areas of Chittorgarh, Daswara and Hamirgarh.
